What type of pet bird should i get? - Pet care and feed

I?ve been wanting a bird for a while now and im just not sure which to get? I also want a bird that sings

I recommend to get either a Lovebird, Cockatiel, or Parrolet. They all make great pets!! My personal favorite is Parrotlets. They have the crazy, fun personality of a bird Macaw but are only the size of Lovebird. My Parrotlet is hilarious! He does the funniest things and never fails to make me smile. Any bird you get is going to chirp and sing, it?s just a matter of their personality how much they?ll do so. Parrotlets can learn to talk which is a cool plus.

One of the things that is awesome about Parrotlets is that they?re rather quiet birds(which means that they?re not going to break your ear drums). Of course they still chirp and sing though. I can?t tell how many times my little guy has just sat on my shoulder chattering away!!

I suggest looking up more information about who big of a bird you want and how much time and money you want to spend on them. If you want a little bird with the personality of a big bird then again I suggest Parrotlets. Look info on them and see what you like!

I think a good beginner bird would be a budgie or cockatiel, both can learn to sing short tunes. I?m not a bird expert, however I have trained many parrots and other birds and think that a small bird would be best. It?s best to get more than one bird if you will be at school or work all day too. Just take your time on deciding, talk to people at the pet store (make sure they are a reputable source), and make your decision from there. Good luck!

I would totally recommend a parakeet (budgie)! I have one myself and hes great! When you first get one, they are very shy and intimidated by their new surroundings, but after they get comfortable, they sing and explore they cage and all kinds of fun stuff! plus, they?re only around 25 bucks at petsmart in Christiansburg!

it depends on how much time you can spend with it, how much money you want to spend, how loud you want it to be etc. if you give more information i can give you a better answer
