Improving Human Resource Management with Corporate Car Hire - Travel

A common enough threat to most companies these days is attrition of personnel. With employees at all levels being on the lookout for better job opportunities, or at least more facilities from employers, human resource managers are recognizing the importance of hiring corporate cars and executive cars. Offering corporate cars to top level officials of a company is a common enough practice across the board. However, companies are gradually coming to recognize that hiring executive cars for middle level and even lower level executives is a smart move.

There are several advantages to corporate car hire, not the least being that one reason for arriving late (inability to find proper transport to work) is obviated.

It also removes a source of tension for executives since how they are going to arrive in office and then reach home regardless of timings is taken care of.

Hiring executive cars on a long term basis can also save costs in the long term. Just think of how often cars are needed to transport executives to meetings and various functions? If you need to hire an executive car separately each time, then the rates that apply can be pretty steep. With long term hire you can always negotiate discounted terms and shift the onus of maintenance on the company which rents out the corporate cars.

So if you run an office with plenty of executives or just a small unit with very few officials, you always stand to gain by opting for corporate car hire.

The car rental companies also prefer to do business with companies rather than individuals as follow up is easier and there is a subconscious feeling that companies are more likely to honor agreements. Usually the car rental companies also offer chauffeur service, which makes it handier for executive car hire meant for top level officials.

Before you close the deal for executive car hire check on how many people can be seated in it comfortably? How old or new is the car you are being offered? The roadworthiness and insurance coverage of the corporate car etc also need to be verified before signing on any agreements.
